Hello! My name is Bee and I am currently studying my bachelor in Human Rights.
What is your idea?
My idea focuses on creating meaningful and personalised connections through high-quality, heart-warming designs. It is targeted towards individuals 20-40 with a need for accessible, meaningful designs, and are trying to fulfill a wish for meaningful relationships. I seek to celebrate simple moments with silhouette and contours, bringing happiness to recipients and value to connections. My designs demonstrate experiences and adventures, whether it is celebrating a birthday or hanging the lights on the christmas tree. I hope to bring a bit of kindness and peace back into the world.
What is your vision for your idea?
My idea contributes happiness, love, and kindness into society. Initially, my cards will be locally sourced and bring high-quality, heart-warming designs for a variety of occasions. Later, I wish to use my designs to give people hope and faith, and to advocate for human rights including gender equality and security. My cards and illustrations bring a smile to people’s faces and express emotion in a simplistic way to strengthen relationships and a sense of belonging in the community. I aim to contribute to social and environmental sustainability.
What are your next steps?
My next steps will be setting up an instagram account and promoting my work at university and local cafes/stores to try out different designs and build partnerships. I need to further obtain necessary materials for getting started and contact local suppliers for printing my cards.
